Digital Marketing Manager & Web Admin

Regan Moreland is a first generation Funeral Director & Embalmer licensed in Alabama and Georgia. She is also a Certified Funeral Service Professional (CFSP), Certified Crematory Operator (CCO) and Certified Funeral Celebrant.

Regan's journey into funeral service began after the traumatic loss of her son, Sawyer. Through processing her own grief, she was called to a career where she would be able to honor him by serving others in their darkest moments. In 2021, she was named Valedictorian of her graduating class from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. After graduating, she completed her 2 year apprenticeship and became dual-licensed in May of 2022.

Regan's passion for funeral service runs deep as she is constantly looking for new ways to grow and learn as a professional. That passion is used in the hopes of inspiring and motivating other professionals to elevate the standards of care. Regan has a background in Massage Therapy, Psychology, Creative Writing, Blogging, as well as experience in Theatre through skills of set design, special effects cosmetics, and performance. She incorporates these skills into unique presentations to "shake things up" from the same routine presentations of the past in order to spark excitement and enthusiasm in others.

Regan currently works as a Licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer, and Cremationist in Alabama. She also serves as a partner, alongside Jeff Holcomb, with Continuing Vision as the Digital & Social Media Marketing Director and Editor/Writer for The Mortician’s Blog. With her eye for detail and knowledge of current topics, Regan has been able to boost the organization’s marketing profile by creating eye-catching webinar promos and the popular monthly newsletter, as well as a complete redesign of the website. She spearheaded the creation for Continuing the Vision’s Mentorship Program and serves as the admin between mentors and mentees.

As a “lifetime student,” Regan believes that you should never stop learning and never stop growing. She understands and advocates for the importance of quality continuing education that both educates and inspires funeral professionals in their own growth. Her personal mission has been to remind funeral professionals to always remember their "why" and to also remember that "every life deserves to be celebrated."
